I'm new to 4x4ing and i heard that IFS was only fullsize GMC and Chev from 88-on. Is this true, I have an 88s10 blazer, i thought it was IFS, Please tell me i'm wrong.

IFS is independant front suspension. This means each side of the front suspension is seperate. When one side moves the other is not affected. The problem with most IFS is it has limited travel. SFA solid front axle both sides are connected together by the axle, has more flex. When one side moves so does the other so you loose ride quality. Hope that helps explain it a bit. Maybe someone else can explain it better.
