I have an '83 22r that I am boring 30 over and I was wondering if anybody has tried using domed pistons to squeeze out a little more power. (I know that they are available.)

I know you can put a 20r head on to boost the compression, but I already have a completely rebuilt 22r head.

There's 2 different kinds of 22r heads one for domed and one for flatties, make sure you know which one you have
(you probably already knew that but I made the mistake of putting the wrong one on and I wouldn't want to see anyone else do it)

I have also made that mistake at one time make sure you measure the block height i tried putting a 22r block on a 22-re head it had very low compression. I can't remember though if i used the domned or flat type piston's but i'am pretty sure they where flat.
