I'm running the spidertrax kit on my 88.5 and It works great.I am running a drum
e-brake on the transfercase.I also added a
russel adjustable proportioning valve to adjust frnt. to rear byass
I have done the same conversion, haven't put the proportioning valve in yet.
How do you find your pedal pressure before and after?
I find it was firmer before the swap, I have bled the system 3 times not much difference.
I would say my brake pedal feels firmer after the conversion, not alot just a little fimer but braking performance is much better and no more rear drums that need to be continually adjusted to keep a decent brake pedal feel.
OK although I no longer own a sammy I am still on the lookout for neat stuff.
My buddy was working on an early '80's Nissan 200sx (fairly cheap and easy to find I think) The rear axle had disk brakes and the housing looked damn close to the size of a samurai!!
Something to look into! I never asked where the E-brake it is could be off the trans. but I may be in the calipers too. If I find out more info I will post.
