I am helping a friend remove the 3rd member on his TTB but ran into a little problem removing the hub to get at the wheel bearings. I removed the the locking hub the small screw then a spring then the c clip off the end of the axle but the inner hub would not come out when I looked closer there is a smallround ring against the hub body preventing that inner aluminum hub to come out in order to get to the wheel bearings and in the manual it says to just remove or use appropriate puller? I am just curious as to the easiest way to remove that inner aluminum hub so any help would be great thanks!

If it's the same as the GM hub, the ring is split. You should be able to tap it inwards with a screwdriver and when it's out of its groove, work it out. Once you get the ring out, the aluminum hub should pop out.
