I put my truck into a 5 foot snow bank at 90 kn/h. I needed a tow truck to get me out! I knocked my knocked my alternator loose and thats about it. Not bad all things considered.

I decided to do a tune. New cap and rotor, plugs, wires, belts, cleaned K&N and oil change. But now it is running like trash. When I hit the gas the truck is slugish until about 2500 rpm and then a sudden boost of power goes to the wheels. Any ideas??

Also since the snow bank my truck does not heat up as well. It still puting out some heat but nowhere near as much??

The truck is a 85 4 runner with a 22RE under the hood

for the heat, I would say that your thermostat is sticking, just go buy a new one for about 15 bucks, sure you got all your wires and such right on the cap? maybe there is some mostior (sp?) in the cap. it's sounds to be ignition related. also check your timing.
