Shackle/spring mods

Is there anything you can do to your spring mounts that won't get you a VI notice? ie. Revolver shackles, 3/4 elip., dual shackle, etc.

If the cop knows what it should look like stock and it isn't, chances are he'll be giving you a VI wether it's legal or not. I'm doing 3/4E to mine and hoping to pass them off as "overloader leafs" if they ever hassle me.
