Ok so i got a question here. I want to put in some rs5000's this summer on my stock 88 4X4 with IFS. My question is about the front shocks......the ones in there now have the round bottom with the bolt going thru them but the tops are mounted by a little bolt type top with a nut holding it on. So can i put rs5000's in with the current set up or do i have to adapt something for this to happen? Or am i completely missing something here?

Modifications? Lets see...... rear end drag from moose hunting, custom built canopy door, Pioneer deck with two, thats right two 6X9s, and bent bumper cowling from stupid wheeling move :) :)

Ride: The shocks you want are model #RS5145 (front) and #RS5144 (rear)
These 5000 series shocks fit toy trucks 86-88 with 0 to 1" of lift.

Yes those shocks are what Rancho says fits. But keep in mind they will limit droop if you have shaved bump-stops. Then again droop isn't really something I have

I wouldn't waste the money on 9000's for IFS due to this fact.

If you have low profile bump stops check out this article...

Instead of using washers I used some old valve cover grommets as spacers. The only mod I had to do was slightly ream out the grommets w/ a drill. Cheap and simple.
