Hello everyone, I will be designing and building a 3 link rear and radius arm front suspension for my suzuki samurai this winter.

I had originally decided on using the weld on Johnny joints at one end of the links and a threaded johnny joint on the other end for adjustability.

Now I see that trail-gear.ca is offering the creeper joints at a competitive price. So naturally I thought about just using threaded joints on both ends. They do appear to be overkill for such a small rig, but when you factor in the fact that the creeper joints come with a jam nut and are available in Canada for about the same as similar johnny joints (without a jam nut) from the states it seems to be a no brainer.

Does anyone on here have any experience with the creeper joints?

Also is there anywhere else in the lower mainland to get these or similar joints? I know that NSOR is the local dealer for Trail Gear but what about johnny joints or Rubicon Express joints...

Any help would be appreciated.

Ive used the trail gear 1.25 joints on my 3 and 4 linked ranger with the weld in bungs, but if I were to do it again I would use a smaller diameter tubing and have the tubing threaded at a machine shop for strength and to save weight. The price to have them threaded would be similar to purchasing the bungs, and you will save money on tubing since it will be much smaller and lighter.
That's a good idea, I didnt even think about that. It will eliminate the weld in bungs that are a bit of a weak point in my opinion.

So at $43.75 a pop, I think the 1.25 creeper joints are the way to go.

Thanks for the input guys.
