I want to put the best T case money can buy in my Tahoe, Everyone says Atlas III. Any input would be great. Thanks, TK

I think the Atlas is probably the best t-case avalible at this time,pricey though.You cant go wrong with a np205,iron case, gear driven, relitively cheap and easy to find.you'd want one of a dodge or ford though,your drive shaft is on the drivers side unlike earlier Chevys. The np208 your truck comes with is not to bad either its got a lower lowrange than a 205 and theres a crawler kit available for it.

The 95 Tahoe would come with the NP 241 not the 208. Fixed yoke conversion kits are available for the 241 and remove one of its weak points. The 241 has a better low range than the 205 and the 208 as well. Add some armor for the underside and spend all the money you would have wasted on an Atlas somewhere else.

NP 205...1.96 to 1
NP 208...2.61 to 1
NP 241...2.72 to 1
