I was looking at BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A and All-Terrain T/A tires and they both have tire size "35x12.50R16.5LT/D". I thought the R16.5 was the rim size, so is this for a 16.5" rim or can these fit on a 17" rim? Are 16.5" rims common?
Tire sizes read like this 33-12.50r15 meaning 33=height 12.50=width r=radil 15=rim size Yes 16.5's are fairly common no they won't fit a 17in rim, and just to start controversy BFG SUCKS! they are an over priced Michelin.
