I have a 4" suspension lifted TJ, and I am planning on putting a 3 " body lift on it, as well as a SYE kit and custom rear CV driveshaft. What I also thought about is to make my own belly up skid plate for the trany before ordering my rear driveshaft. My plan is to make the skid plate flush with the frame. For that I need to lift the engine, what is the maximum I can lift my engine, would 2" or 1 1/2 " or even 1 " be the best? Any help with this matter would be appreciated.

I don't think I've seen motor mounts over 1 inch, more makes some good ones, their bombproof 1 inch motor mounts have changed design and I know a guy who busted a old model one. M.O.R.E. was awesome to him, quick to mail him a set of the new ones...are you sure you want to go 3 inches bl???

If you're looking for a belly up skid for a TJ, Outkast just took his off his Jeep to make room for his long arms, may be he'll like to seel it. I'll mention it to him when I see him this afternoon.
