Hey all

Just a question, has anyone tried to put TJ springs in a sidekick? I mean everyone knows that you could use TJ spacers with a little mods... SO can't you use the spring itself?? You have to bore out the inside of the spacer so that means the spring would be larger and won't that fit in the stock perch? Even if not, couldn't you mod the spacer and put the spring on that?? If anyone has any idea please let me know.

TJ coils are much heavier rate than the sidekick ones and are also quite a bit taller if you use the ones that are the same O.D. all the way up. The mounting doesn't work out pefect either, one end is too small and needs to be cut, the other end is a bit to large around so they shift a bit.

As far as just mounting them in the rear I wouldn't do it unless you are sitting about 4-5" lift.

In the front they are no where near the right spring rate, way to soft for that IFS setup!

Hope that helps,
