My buddy put one of the newer style boxes (I believe it was a '92 or '93) on his '85 and he had to move all of the box mounts. Other than his experience (which he describes with many colorful words) I have no idea. I was really just posting this to ask you why your BBS name is Marshall if your real name is Nick?
