Going to be doing a gear swap on the Samurai soon.

We have 5.125:1 Tracker gears.

From what I've read we will need a ring gear spacer, and a cross pin retaining ring.

I can make the retaining ring pretty easily from some stainless steel sheet.

I was wonder though, what the thickness of the spacer should be?

I think I have an idea of how to make that. I have a set of Tracker carriers that got last year. I was thinking of taking the smaller half of the carrier, and machining the flange that the ring gear bolts through. All I need to know is the thickness that it should be so I can turn it down to that tolerance.

Anyone know what it is or anyone about to buy a kit and can measure it for me?

I've got the 5.13's and the tube is 1mm and the spacer is 2mm. Sound right.
hope it helps.
