Hey, I going to put a 327 in my 95' jeep. I what to know what the best training and transfer case? and is it smart to put a splitter in a wrangler?

Um...by "training," do you mean tranny or transmission? What's a splitter?

If you are wondering what tranny to use, a dodge light truck NV4500 is a very popular choice.

Klune V makes an under-drive splitter, but your drive shaft is already pretty short. by the time you add the under-drive unit there won't be much driveshaft left.

You didn't specify your preference of transmissions. If auto, then go for the 700R4. Your Jeep (I'm assuming a short wheelbase) should be able to fit that in there if you're installing a V8. You'll need an adapter to hook it up to any transfer case with decent low gears unless you go with a 231 or 241 from a newer Blazer.

If you're talking about dual tcases, it's a matter of whether or not you'll have enough room. Chris Waterman managed to do it. It's a nice feature to have, that's for sure.

Okay thanks, I am going to probably put TH700R4 tranmition and a NP205 Tranfer case under the jeep.
