I am having trouble getting my '93 Bronco to shift into 4 wheel drive. It has a Borg-Warner 1356 with electric 'shift on the fly'. When the button is pressed, the relays click for a while and then the lights on the dash come ON indicating that it is in '4X4', but there is no drive to the front axle. The manual hubs seem fine and I hear no strange noises. I have tried shifting at different speeds, when stopped and in neutral. It also refuses to shift into 4-LO. I only use 4 wheel drive during snow storms (we just had our first) so it hasn't seen a lot of use. Truck has 120K, 302, auto. Any advice on what to look for would be appreciated.

You should engage the 4 wheel drive system at a minumum of once a month to keep everything lubricated in the transfer case and the electronics from collecting dust. I had similar problem with a ranger, no low range and couldn't be bothered to fix it. Sounds like a bad connection or shifting selenoid or something FoMoCo!
