Anybody done it?
Specifically on a 78/79 reverse cut coil spring Dana 44?

I thought it was out of the question at first glance of the axle, it looks like the knuckles and the cast piece that the radius arm mounts to are one piece, but now that I look closer to it it looks like there might be a weld there between that knuckle and the radius arm mounting stuff.

On my old axle it would be easy enough, the pieces that the radius arm mounts to on the axle are two piece, welded on to the tube, on my new (1979) axle thats a big cast piece.

So, it is possible to break the steering knuckles loose on this axle or not? Looks like an all day grinder job if it is possible.

The drop brackets will do for now. I think I got carried away, nine inch drop brackets, yikes, kinda makes all that lift irrelevant when I move the radius arm bracket down to parralel with the ground.

But hey, its sure gonna steer straight.
