Walker Valley on Sunday the 21st

I've never been, but would love to see it. I'm hoping for trail difficulty levels on par with Blue Mtn (ie tougher than Hut or Eagle), but I really don't know much about what's there.

Given the likely delays at the border, I think an 11:00 meeting time makes sense. No idea where to meet, though - what's the usual rendezvous point?

So, who's up for it?

Very tempting Chris, but I'm spending the weekend with my Wife at the Cabin!

Maybe next weekend!

If you go down to Walker Valley, can I catch a ride with someone? I would love to see it, but my truck wouldn't make it. I am willing to split gas money
. I have a small digital camera and would take lots of photos too

I would say meet at the Mt. Vernon exit in the Walmart (I think) parking lot. Can be seen from the hwy.
Chris, email me and I can send you a trail map if you would like.

-would like to go, but need a bigger truck. Game for a passenger seat though...

I have met up with other Vancouverites at the Campbell River Store (176St and 8th Ave) it makes it a little easier to cross the border in a group. When meeting up with Washingtonians we meet at the staging area of Walker Valley.

Hi Chris, I don't this this Sunday will work. The wife has made other commitments for me in the morning. I really want to go though, how about next weekend?

I might be up for Eagle on Sunday afternoon if nothing else.

Cheers

Hmmm... I guess it didn't look like this was going to fly. Next weekend may be okay; I'll know for sure by Tuesday or so.

Oh well, no harm done. Eagle sounds like a good compromise. How 'bout 2:00, assuming the weather cooperates? Rhys, you in this time?
