ive got a 97 ranger 4x4 ext.cab 4.0L with 32's tires i want to go up to 33's ive got stock gears(3.73)i do good with the gas milage but hardly no torque, i want 4.27's but no of the gearing manufactures make gears in that ratio for my truck, im thinking of more or less heading towards 4.56's i know my gas milage will suffer but at least ill be able to tow again, is that a good gear ration to go with(4.56)??????

You should go with 456 then you can tow and spin the tires in the mud

Do it. if your milage suffers, it will likely be because of the tires, not the gears. you need more than 'stock' to drag around the wider heavier tires.
