Ok. I just received a $1000 (plus a little) tax cheque back and a $1000 (minus a little) vacation pay cheque. minus tax (on vac. pay) minus beer, I think that leaves me about $1500 plus the normal monthly Jeep allowance.
What can be done? What should be done? I'm running a stock YJ with:

2-inch custom spring lift / cb / 31x10.5 SIHTTY tires / cust. bumper(pick up on Wed) / rebuilt Peugot tranny / jks disconnects / Carr body corners (Yasu ordered them last week) / new-ish soft-top / sihtty driving lights / new Rancho 5000's / seat covers / good-ish stereo / and new plugs, dist cap, ign wires, valve cover gasket, u-bolts, keys(c'mon, let's face it, keys wear out too) etc.

I know there's alot of cosmetics in there (soft-top, seat covs) but let's face it, 1) Hard-tops suck for summer. if it rains, driving home wet blows goats. 2) Ugly seat covers delay the cost of new seats.

What would you do with extra cash. I know I need new tires, but what else, NO MATTER HOW SMALL (a la disconnects et keys) would you get fer yer jeep?

My wish list: Shackles, Body lift, tires, winch, lockers! Rear bumper/tire carrier?

1" shackles and 1" Body for 32" tires? Hrmm.. More Rude Rambling, but I'm interested in your input. (no 'remove your damn stripped torx bolt!' jokes please. :) )

m.o.r.e. bl - soon.

hippoliner - dunno. I don't really think I need it. Maybe eventually, but I have full carpet and my body's in allright condition.

Tuffy. yeah. Has anyone used the Tuffy 'Trunk' compartment/container? The one that fills up the back of your Jeep? Seeing as I don't have a back seat and I carry my gear in there anyways, it sounds like a good idea to have it locked up tight.

I'm hopefully grabbing Agent Scully's body lift. I'll get flares eventually.

As for a Ford 8.8 vs. the d35, this picture backs your suggestion pretty well. :D I guess I'm off to find a good 8.8.

Yeah. Winch = easier install and it's more versatile (like when I need to winch your rig back onto it's tires)

Who's got a winch for cheap? Which models whould I be looking into?
