I have the same tire on a 15x8, couldn't pop a bead jumping on them @ 10 psi (I know that's not an accurate test but hey what else do you do when the truck doesn't run).
They'll fit and probably work but it would be better to get an 8 inch rim.
You can get american racing black steelies for nice and cheap, 15x8 and whatever backspacing you want. I'd go for that, just because it would be ideal.
So if money's tight, what I would be able to do is Buy the 37 x 12.5's, mount them on the wheels i have now, and then buy the NEW wheels later and swap 'em?
