What year did the Cherokee have it's face lift? ie: newer style flares and flush front side markers.
Also, what's the min. lift to fit 31's?
Spacers and blocks? Want to keep ride feel as close to stock as possible.

I believe '96 was the face lift, and amount of lift to fit 31's, none, if you fender trim. If not 2" of lift and not very much articulation off-road, 3" and 31's go nice together. Don't use blocks, they are just bad, use spacers up front and shackles in the rear.

Thanks Jordan, won't be taking it off road, my YJ is for that. Just thinking of getting a XJ for work purposes, something with cargo space and will actually fit into an uderground parking lot. I also want to keep it riding as smooth as possible, so no big lifts this time. But you can't expect me to drive it stock either.

I have a set of 5 BFG 30x9.50 AT's on stock 5 spoke wheels for sale if you want...


I'm tryin to get rid of these things! I need the money to get the 33's put on the new wheels! LoL

97 was the first year for the updated body


If you can afford it go with 3" springs.
