Military tires are the biggest, I think they go up to 56" or something. As for lift, technically, there is no limitation, other than you have to have your bumper no higher than 29" and your headlights no higher than 55" or somewhere near there. But it won't be easy to get it inspected when its that high.

In B.C. if you lift your vehicle 4" or more over stock (including tire height), you are required to have a Vehicle Inspection done to ensure it is legal. With that said, very few do this (including me). On average, most vehicles can be lifted 4"-6" and run a 33"-35" tire without having any major legal issues. Anythin larger will require other mods to ensure you keep the VI police off your case.

alot of it i figure to is if your truck looks like a hunk of ****. all your misdamenors (sp?) will be more visible to the cop about to hand you your VI. just make sure you've got most regs covered and you dont have crap falling off. at least give yourself the best advantage possible for avoiding a VI

12" of lift (so far), 44s (got 49s behind the garage)... other than my initial inspection I have just never been hassled. I drive carefully and I like space on the road when I can get it. My truck is not what I'd call pretty but it's also got no rust at all because I know how to weld and I just don't care if you can still see the bead.
