Control arms

Has anybody used the rear adjustable upper Teraflex control arms in a TJ? Are they worth it and will i have to get a rear adjustable track bar? (cause of the rear pinion angle) I've heard that the Rubicon Express ones aren't that good....Is that true?

I've got the Tera adjustable control arms and I'm very happy with them. Just have to grease 'em regularly.

You won't have the adjust your pinion unless your getting an SYE. Are you getting an SYE? If you're simply getting ajustable aftermarket control arms for more strength then you'll have to keep them in stock length, same length as the ones you're replacing.

I have SYE kit in my Jeep with those pinion bolts. The problem is that those bolts keep loosening up and shifting on me if i start driving it hard. (must be the locker?) So i thought that if i got the lower control arms it would help out...Make things more solid!!

Well, if you have the SYE now and don't have any driveline vibrations you won't need to adjust your pinion once you got the adjustable control arms. Once you replace the cam bolts with regular ones you'll just need to adjust the new control arms to retain the pinion angle you currently have.

BTW, I also have a Tera rear adjustable track bar with Tera track bar relocator. The adjustable track is very close to my gas tank skid plate that it rubs a little when flexing. You might wanna take a look at the new RE track bar relocator which is angled forward to keep the track bar away from the gas tank.

I will probably get one of these when I install my Belly Up.

Hey Arnold.....I finally got them control arms and that track bar bracket. The part # for the bracket is RE 1602. Its called the CV TJ track bar brkt.
